Fiction Cult is a sensemaking art project for coalescing the philosophical ideals of Athos Prime into a coherent set of symbols, rituals, and traditions.
It is an exploration of what it means to live a meaningful life while participating in fulfilling community experiences.
It is crafted as the symbolic and philosophical orthodoxy of a particular religion in the game world. The in-game religion is a central part of a particular narrative practiced by a small group of people. It is not intented to be some sort of overarching religion practiced by all players.
Some aspects of Fiction Cult are designed for use in daily life, as a real-life pseudo-religion. Though it makes no fundamental claims about ultimate Truth nor does it claim any spiritual authority.
